The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure plans and improves transportation networks, builds new infrastructure, provides transportation services, and implements transportation policies, to allow for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods.
Industrial Safety Online is a leader in Online Safety Training within Canada. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with a quality online learning experience and access to 800 Safety training courses available 24/7. Our Learning Management team will help you put together a training package that meets the needs of your safety goals and an outstanding technical support team to assist you with questions and assistance 7 days a week. Our compressive courses were designed to meet the safety needs for many different industries and designed to meet or exceed CSA and OHS standards.

A not-for-profit collaboration between contractors, associations, progressive unions and training partners. Together, we build over 85 percent of construction projects, provide the most apprenticeships, and employ and train the vast majority of the workforce.

The Aboriginal Construction Program provides an opportunity to gain skills and knowledge that give a head start in the construction industry with the benefit of learning coastal First Nations construction history and methods. Developed in consultation with the coastal First Nation’s communities this program is designed for aboriginal learners with components that include recognition of cultural issues regarding education and traditional construction as well as skills development in areas such as mathematics and communications.

Knappett Industries Limited is a privately owned construction company, based in Nanaimo. Since Commencing operations in 1988, Knappett Industries (2006) Ltd. has grown into a leading supplier of construction services for residential subdivision development, underground utility installation & replacement, road building and land clearing needs on Vancouver Island.
The Knappett Team will provide on the job training for Heavy Equipment Operation (HEO).
